Why is the substation being replaced?

The existing facility is over 50 years old, utilizes obsolete infrastructure, is nearing its maximum load capacity, and does not meet current O&R design standards. The Project will increase service reliability and capacity for local customers.
What does the permitting process look like?

What is happening to the existing substation?

The existing South Goshen Substation will be removed as part of this project.
